3 Days 2 Nights Camels, Dunes and Nomadic Tents Tour From Zagora

We will depart from Zagora at 14:00 by car or taxi to Oulad Driss, where the camels will be waiting for a two-hour ride to Erg Lihoudi, crossing dunes and tamaris trees on the way to the camp. After sunset, a traditional dinner will be served under a nomad tent, and an evening filled with local atmosphere will begin. Depending on your preference, you can choose to sleep in a tent or under the stars on the dunes.

In the morning, after breakfast, we cross the Ouadi Draa by camel, passing through an area with large dunes and tamarisk trees, enjoying lunch under a big tamarisk tree. In the afternoon, we depart in a 4×4 to cross a major section of the hamada (rocky desert), continuing along the track until we reach Chegaga, home to the highest dunes of southern Morocco (300m), passing through the sacred oasis. We’ll experience a breathtaking sunset and spend the night at the camp, where tea and dinner will be served in a traditional Berber nomad tent, creating a warm, local atmosphere.

Sunrise is a magical moment not to be missed. After enjoying breakfast, we head towards the last village in the Draa Valley on our way back to Zagora. Along the way, we visit the historic village of Tamegroute to explore the Quranic school and its library, the underground Kasbah, and uncover the secrets of the green potters. We arrive in Zagora around noon.
