For a desert tour , it’s important to pack light but smart: bring comfortable walking shoes, along with warm layers such as sweaters and a windbreaker, as the temperature difference between hot days and cold nights can be significant—especially in winter (November to January). Protect yourself from the sun with a scarf or turban to cover your head, neck, and shoulders, which is also useful in case of sandstorms, and consider adding a hat for extra protection. Don’t forget essentials like sunglasses and high-SPF sunscreen to stay safe under the strong desert sun. For sleeping, there is no need to bring extra equipment, as the tents are fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable night.

We recommend to buy your bottles of mineral water, or bring your pellet micropur.

Morocco is sweltering in the summer months; however, it’s still necessary to cover the shoulders and legs. For women, a loose maxi dress with a light sweater or scarf over the shoulders is a brilliant way to stay cool and blend in with women who wear jabadors and kaftans.

It’s not necessary for non-Muslim women to wear a hijab, or a veil that conceals a woman’s hair. Moroccan women choose for themselves whether or not they wish to cover, and this decision is largely based on religious motivations.
