his 3-day adventure from Agadir takes you through the heart of southern Morocco, blending panoramic mountain scenery, ancient kasbahs, Berber culture, and an unforgettable Sahara experience at the majestic dunes of Erg Chigaga.
Travel from Agadir to Taliouine, Morocco’s saffron capital, before crossing the dramatic Tizi n-Tinifift pass toward Agdez. Continue through the legendary Draa Valley, known for its thousand kasbahs and vast palm groves, before spending the night in Zagora.
The journey continues toward M’hamid, with a cultural stop in Tamgroute to explore its ancient Koranic library, underground kasbah, and traditional green pottery workshops. After lunch, head off-road to reach the remote dunes of Erg Chigaga, the highest in Morocco. Enjoy camel riding, sandboarding, and a magical sunset before spending the night in a desert camp under the stars.
On the final day, cross the old Paris–Dakar Rally tracks and the dry Lake Iriqui toward Foum Zguid. After lunch in Taznakht, renowned for its Amazigh carpets, return to Agadir with arrival in the late afternoon.

Itinerary
Day 1 : AGADIR – TALIOUINE – AGDEZ – ZAGORA
The departure from your hotel in Agadir, at 8 am in a 4×4 heading to the capital of the red gold, Taliouine. Passing by TiZi n-Tinifift on the way to AGDEZ. Have lunch. Then, driving to Zagora through the valley of a thousand kasbahs, fortified villages and palm groves. Have dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 : ZAGORA – M’HAMID – ERG CHEGAGA
Have breakfast, then Head to Temegroute in which you will visit a koranic library, an underground kasbah and manufacture of green pottery. Then stop for lunch in M'hamid. After lunch, continue to the sea of sand, Chegaga, which is the highest dune in Morocco with about 300m alt and more than 40km long. Arrive at bivouac to enjoy an hour of camel ride. Then, you can enjoy sandboarding and watching the sunset. Have dinner and overnight at the bivouac in tents or under the stars in the middle of the dunes.
Day 3: ERG CHIGAGA – TAZNAKHT – AGADIR
Have breakfast in the desert before the departure in 4*4 to Foum Zguid through the old track of Paris Dakar rally and dry lake of Iriqui. Then, have lunch in the capital of the Amazigh carpet, Taznakht, and head to Agadir. The arrival will be in the late afternoon
