We will depart from Marrakech at 07:00 and head towards Tizn’t Tichka. At an altitude of 2206 meters, it is the highest mountain pass in North Africa. Along the way we will experience the colors of the High Atlas Mountains, and pass through picturesque Berber villages. Our descent will take us to Ait Benhaddou kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will have lunch in a local restaurant and join our guide for a tour of the site.

From here, we will continue on to  Agdz and the wonderful Draa Valley. We will take a break in Zagora before reaching the village of M’Hamid, where our camels will be waiting for us. An hour long camelback trek will bring us to our camp in time for the sunset. Dinner will be served by the campfire as you enjoy the peace and tranquility of this very special place. Overnight in the desert camp in the dunes of Erg Lihoudi.

The sun rising over the dunes is a unique experience for the more adventurous among you, with breakfast served soon after.  We will mount the camels again for the trek back to M’Hamid and the opportunity for a hot shower at a hotel. Our return route will take us back through Zagora and Agdz, with a lunch break and a guided visit of the cinema studios(optional) in Ourzazate. We will arrive back in Marrakech at around 18:00.
